Earlier this term, our Duke of Edinburgh’s Award students completed their final assessment, which was an expedition, where they needed to navigate a route using maps. They each cooked their own meals, outside on trangia stoves! The Silver team even cooked pancakes for everyone for breakfast one morning! They were very yummy! Everyone even had the opportunity to take part in target practice and axe throwing.
All the students camped over two nights, which allowed 2 students to achieve the Silver Award and 4 students to achieve the Bronze Award!
Well done to everyone involved!
