Vehicles on Bradfields Academy Site

To All Vehicles on Bradfields Academy site
We have noticed that some drivers keep the engines running on their vehicles whilst on site awaiting loading or unloading of students. Obviously this is not good for our health or the environment.
I am sure you are all aware of the Highway Code Rule 123
"The Driver and the Environment. You MUST NOT leave a parked vehicle unattended with the engine running or leave a vehicle engine running unnecessarily while that vehicle is stationary on a public road. Generally, if the vehicle is stationary and is likely to remain so for more than a couple of minutes, you should apply the parking brake and switch off the engine to reduce emissions and noise pollution. However it is permissible to leave the engine running if the vehicle is stationary in traffic or for diagnosing faults."
In the interests of the health & safety of all of us, we ask that you also kindly apply this rule whilst on the school site.
Can I also ask that when parking on the upper site playground you leave a margin of tarmac at the rear of your vehicles so that students do not have to walk on the grass.
Thank you for your cooperation.
