Parent Survey Feedback Letter 2021
Dear Parents & Carers
I would like to thank you for taking the time to complete our recent Parents & Carers Questionnaire which explored your child’s experience of Bradfields. We had an excellent response, with 90 completed questionnaires returned and very positive feedback throughout. A summary of the results can be accessed by watching our summary report which can be found here: https://www.bradfieldsacademy.co.uk/parent-carer-partnership
Parents who raised personal queries related to their own children will be contacted and any concerns alleviated or resolved.
We are grateful to all our parents and carers for their support and ongoing partnership. Thank you once again for such positive feedback, the only general areas that parents raised as queries were:
- How to support their child with learning at home
- Concerns around parents not supporting their children to test frequently
Please see responses to these requests below:

You can also support your child by encouraging them to read at home through completing the weekly Buster’s Book Club challenge and recording their reading minutes in their planners. Please ensure that your child has a quiet place to complete their home learning away from distractions. You could also support by checking their planners to help remind them if they have home learning to complete. More information on home learning can be found here:
Concerns around student testing
We are continuing to encourage all students to undertake regular twice weekly lateral flow Covid-19 testing at home. Testing for Covid-19 is one of the best ways to prevent the spread of the virus. By working together we can help to protect each other.
Additional test packs can be requested, please simply write a note in your child’s planner. We will be sending test packs home in preparation for the Spring Term. More information on expectations prior to students return to Bradfields in January will be provided shortly.
I would like to thank all parents and carers for their ongoing support and for taking the time to provide us with such overwhelmingly positive feedback.
