ROCCstars

ROCCstars is a holiday club open to all young people aged 5 - 11 with learning difficulties, they offer a variety of activities based around our young people’s interests alongside trips out. Activities may include:

  • Arts and Crafts
  • Sports workshops
  • Cooking
  • Bowling
  • Music and Dance

And much, much more.

ROCCstars is based at the Marlborough Centre site, and whilst there young people also have access to a quiet room should they wish to just relax or if they become overwhelmed. They also have access to a sensory room, outdoor climbing frame and the chance to make new friends whilst enjoying new experiences.

The purpose of this club is to offer the young people a safe and fun environment to spend their holiday time and the chance to learn new skills in whilst also offering some respite to their families.

The cost of this is based on the level of support your young person requires and is made on an individual basis during a home visit. This enables you to meet us and ask any questions along with your young person meeting us in a familiar environment.

Young people will need to provide their own packed lunch, unless stated otherwise on the activity schedule. You can email the management team to organise this at roccstars@rivermeadinclusivetrust.org.  Please be aware that we can direct you to access funding which is specifically there to enable young people with additional needs to access holiday/respite provisions.
