Family Zone - https://literacytrust.org.uk/family-zone/?mc_cid=fced665575&mc_eid=4ae8617532 - Family Zone have developed a comprehensive web portal for Parents & Carers, to support you during this time. Split up by age group, you will find ideas and guidance for simple activities that will engage your children at home, while also benefiting their reading, writing and language development. You'll be able to access free reading and writing resources, audiobooks, videos, competitions and reading challenges. Every resource is available for free, although to access some you may need to create a free account.
Medway Youth Service - Delivering online Youth Work sessions, details of what they are providing are available at: www.medway.gov.uk/onlineyouthwork. They have 4 sessions a day, Monday to Friday on a range of subjects – on top of this our team are keeping in contact with specific youth groups. If there are any suggestions for other sessions or you have young people who might need some support or encouragement to access , they can email firstname.lastname@example.org and one of their team will get in contact.
Twinkl - https://www.twinkl.co.uk - This is more for printouts, and usually at a fee, but they are offering a month of free access to parents in the event of school closures.

Signalong - SIGNALONG is committed to empowering children and adults with impaired communication to understand and express their needs, choices and desires by providing vocabulary for life and learning. Signalong are also providing discussion pictures, as part of a series of pictures around the home and out & about to promote this. Each picture will have 12 signs to get you started and can also be coloured in.

The story also shows how to safely help others who may be self-isolating. Supplementary text at the end of the story gives information on where people can seek help if they are unwell and signposts to other useful resources.

Education Freedom - https://educationalfreedom.org.uk/free-resources/ - Free resources from a number of organisations including British Heart Foundation, British Legion and Postal Museum.
ASDAN Resources - https://www.asdan.org.uk/resources/free-resources - As an education charity, ASDAN want to support educators, Parents and Carers with home learning and educating as much as they can. The resources, ranging from pre-Entry to Level 2, have been taken from a range of ASDAN courses. They can be used in a home setting and challenges can be adapted to suit home learning.
