Our Fundraising

As an Academy, we are passionate about helping a wide variety of charities throughout the year. 

Fundraising in 2017-2018

In 2017-2018, we raised a total of £113.20 for the Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance, through our various fundraising throughout the year.

Also in 2017-2018, we managed to raise a massive £1,786.94 for various other charities throughout the academic year.

In 2018-2019, we raised a total of £3,747.71 for various charities throughout the academic year.

Fundraising in 2018-2019

In Term 1, we wore our jeans for Jeans for Genes Day, raising £244.45.  Staff participated in a Staff Bake Off, and student purchased cakes at a Tuck Shop, to raise money for Macmillan Coffee Morning, in total we raised £315.20.  At the end of Term 1, we wore pink for the Breast Cancer Now (Wear It Pink) charity, raising £363.20.

In Term 2, we commemorated those who were lost in the World Wars and subsequent battles and we raised £114.76 for The Royal British Legion's Poppy Appeal.  Staff and students went spotty for Children in Need, purchased Pudsey merchandise and participated in lots of activities, raising £653.80.  At the end of Term 2, staff and students got into the festive spirit by wearing their Christmas jumpers, raising £249.42 for Save the Children.

In Term 3, staff and students participated in Sign2Sing, to raise money for the charity SignHealth, we raised a total of £219.90.

So far this year, we have raised £2,160.73
