Today, the Bradfields Community celebrated World Book Day!
Students and staff dressed in comfy reading clothes, or as their favourite book character, and we had some fantastic outfits on show around the academy.
Throughout the day, the bell sounded for our Drop Everything and Read (D.E.A.R), where everyone stopped what they were doing and read a book, listened as a class to an audiobook, or watched the Year 7 video, where they retold the classic story of ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’. There was also an opportunity for the students to visit the Free For All, Read For All stall, where they could choose a free book to take home and keep.
